Helper

This work captures the word helper in sign language. When one associates a woman as a“helper”, the usual definition is assistant or aid. But when I looked up what the word “helper” meant in Hebrew I fell upon this word Succor. Succor defines as assistance in times of distress. From my own experience, and this very definition, I see a woman as the GLUE to society. The one that Adam needed in order to fully fulfill his duty as a man, husband and fellow image bearer of Christ. Women are the only ones who can, by the glory of God, birth and care for other image bearers. When you think about it wow! God gave women such a huge role to play in the world because He knew the world needed women. Women are helpers, but they are the Glue. The ones who hold it together only because of the grace given from the one who created us all.
